2025 NSHDA Checking Clinic

Body contact and body checking are critical parts of this fast moving physical game. To excel in the game of hockey at any level you must be able to give and receive checks with confidence and not the fear of injury.

NSHDA checking clinic are designed to help the player transition into Bantam hockey and also help the second year Bantam build on their first year playing contact. The NSHDA staff will help train your game so that you have the contact skills and confidence to play in tight, physical situations and reducing the chance of injury.

Dates:

March 8/9 and March 15/16

Schedule March 8th and 15th:

Squirts 2:30pm – 3:30pm

Pewee 3:40pm – 4:40pm

Bantam 4:50pm - 5:50pm

Schedule March 9th and 16th

Squirts 10:10am – 11:10am

Pewee 11:20am – 12:20pm

Bantam 12:30pm – 1:30pm
